About Us

“Imagination spun into every page.”

At SpiderWebb Books, we believe that every child deserves stories that spark curiosity, joy, and creativity. Just like a spider’s web, our books are carefully crafted to connect young readers to worlds full of wonder, adventure, and discovery.

Our authors and illustrators share a passion for storytelling. From playful picture books to captivating early readers, every title we publish is designed to spark imagination and leave lasting memories.

Because at SpiderWebb Books, reading isn’t just about turning pages — it’s about weaving stories that stay with children long after the book is closed.

Books We Love

We take inspiration from the stories that have shaped generations of readers. Some of our favorites include:

  • RIM the Robot – a tale of friendship, curiosity, and adventure.
  • If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff – a timeless classic of playful cause-and-effect.
  • Any book by Sandra Boynton – from dancing hippos to bedtime silliness, her stories remind us that joy belongs on every page.

These beloved books remind us to keep imagination at the heart of everything we publish.

About Us

At Cobalt Jacket & Co., we don’t believe a good bar needs to be flawless — but it should always feel right. From neighborhood dives to destination breweries to refined restaurants, we create places where hospitality, character, and community come first. We’re here to keep the neon glowing, the taps flowing, and the stories alive, while making sure the basics are better than you’d expect.

Our vision was inspired by our friend Thomas “Tommy” R. (1984–2011), who knew better than anyone that a good bar isn’t about perfection — it’s about people. Tommy lived for that world, and in many ways, this company is our way of carrying his spirit forward. For him, it didn’t take much — just a cheap pair of sunglasses and a clean restroom — to make a place worth staying awhile. Every pint poured, every jukebox song played, and every laugh shared is part of that legacy.

We’re not just building trendy hotspots. We’re building lasting places — from the kind you stumble into once and return to for years, to the kind you seek out to mark a special occasion. Each spot feels like home in its own way, where the regulars become family, and every detail — from the wood bar top that’s heard every story to the carefully curated menu — tells a story of its own.

Here’s to the places that live on long after last call — in the memories we carry with us.

In memory of Thomas “Tommy” R. (1984–2011)
Gone on his last call too soon, but always with us in spirit.

About King of the Lab

I created King of the Lab as a place to experiment, question, and share the ideas that keep me up at night. Some topics I dive into because I’ve worked with them directly. Others are simply areas I’m curious about and want to understand more deeply.

My drive has always been to look at new-to-me industries differently—questioning how they operate today and where they might go tomorrow. I’ve never been one to follow the straight path; instead, I spot patterns that let me jump ahead, moving from A to C without needing B. It’s like leaping forward to the next train car while others are still weaving their way through the aisles—getting ahead, then waiting as others catch up.

This site is my lab bench. It’s where I break down what I’m learning, test theories, and connect the dots between business, technology, creativity, and whatever comes next. King of the Lab isn’t fixed to one niche—it’s about following innovation wherever it leads.

If you’re here, you’re part of that journey too.
